A bit about me...
I am Paddy White, the Founder and CEO of our Virtual Assistant Business.
With over a decade of experience in the business world, I am a seasoned entrepreneur myself. My vision for this business was to provide exceptional administrative support to clients and become a valuable team member. I personally have a background in administration in various sectors including legal, property and insurance, amongst others but my team comes in with even more experience and expertise which ensure clients are kept happy regardless of their admin woes! It also helps to deliver high-quality services that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.
Now being in business for 10 years and as part of our vision, I would like to run a business that not only cares about our clients and their requirements, but a business which is conscious about the world around us, is ethical, is sustainable and gives back to the community in which we live as well as to the people who brought us here.
Originally from the sunny shores on the east coast of South Africa, I have been in the UK for so long that I feel more British than South African. I originally moved to try breakaway from the everyday and see what else I need to see and achieve. To ensure Virtual Diamond’s successes I utilise the vast experience I gathered from my various roles.
For fun, I am a netballer. If my knees would allow it, I would play more often for sure. And if I wasn't a VA and a mum, I would love to be travelling the world! Who knows, maybe I would even take my hubby along with me. My long term goal is definitely to work from an exotic location. I am not a gym bunny by any means, but I do love a pilates class!

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
I love the variety! Each client we work with comes with a something new, for us to do and for us to learn too. Working with different business owners also mean we are constantly learning and evolving ourselves.
What is your vision for your business?
What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
Since Covid, I found I am too comfortable in front of the screen and have stopped going out to meet people and network. I think with the new branch of WMB, it gives me the perfect restart to get back out there and also help with developing a new unit.
What do you do at week-ends?
Spend some time with my two teenage children, but as they need me less and less, I also play Netball when my knees allow it. I am also a Cub Scout Leader so I am busy with one o two scouting activities!
What is your worst experience in business or work?
Door to Door Chugger, in the "lovely" British weather. Lets just say I swam more than walked to each door.
What was your first ever job?
Cashier in a supermarket at age 15.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
South Africa! Because that is where my parents and entire family live. I don't get to see them often, so anytime there is the best time ever!
