Hello everyone, I'm Sarah (aka Clacky)!
I believe that great brand photography starts long before I pick up a camera.
It starts with understanding you and what you’re about.
Why did you start your business? What makes you different? Why do you care so much about what you do? And, most importantly, how should someone feel when they discover you?
That's the story I'm interested in.
As an experience-led brand photographer, I love working with passionate people and businesses who care deeply about what they do… from hospitality to hideaways, brilliant makers to bespoke events, founders to free spirits with something meaningful to share.
And if you hate having your photograph taken, you're in good hands. My shoots are far from awkward, corporate poses. I strongly believe that just because you’re professional, it doesn’t mean you can’t have personality. My ethos is to bring joy to the experience of brand photography and have some fun along the way!
Before focusing on photography, I spent over 25 years in the creative industry, with a background in Employee Experience. As a former Creative Director with a keen eye for detail, I’ve directed many people-led shoots for local and global brands.
That experience means I'm not just thinking about beautiful photography. I'm thinking about your business, your audience, your story and how it all works together to build visibility and trust.
If this sounds of interest to you, I'd love to chat about how I can help you and your business be seen, felt and remembered.
I've included my discovey calls link below.

"Sarah is an absolute joy to work with. Warm, easy-going and hugely experienced – she instinctively understands people and branding. She joined us at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 and, in a fiercely private industry, captured fantastic, genuinely usable imagery that truly reflects our brand and values. She made our team feel completely at ease and brought the human side of recruitment to life. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be working with her again!! "

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, so watching someone’s expression and energy change to one of enjoyment and positivity during the shoot.
What is your vision for your business?
To help as many passionate people and businesses as possible be seen, felt and remembered.
If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Trust the process and believe in yourself.
Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
The photographer Greg Williams. He’s taught me that imperfect action is better than no action! We can spend hours procrastinating, getting stuck in a spiral of tweaking, refining and overthinking, which means nothing gets done. We don’t live in a perfect world, so why are we always trying to chase absolute perfection? The same can be said for his photography. Greg admits he’d rather capture an unplanned, unposed moment that makes someone feel something, over a staged and technically perfect photo.
Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
'Empathy is everything.’
Greg Williams, Photographer
What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
Running your own business can be lonely. I want to make genuine connections, share experiences and have the support of other great business owners. I’m looking forward to being part of the network, learning from others and hopefully supporting them too.
What do you do at week-ends?
At the moment I’m busy trying to get my name out there, so I sometimes work. But when I don’t have my business brain on, I can usually be found having a glass or three of wine to relax.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Rosé and a corkscrew! ;)
What book are you currently reading?
The Art of Gathering by Priya Parker.
What book(s) would you recommend?
Smile in the Mind by Beryl McAlhone, David Stuart, Greg Quinton and Nicola Bruce.
The Power of Moments by Chip and Dan Heath.
Who's your personal hero and why?
Carol Whitworth, the founder of the business I used to work for. She taught me that it’s OK to be me.
What is your worst experience in business or work?
Working in a shoe shop when you hate feet!
What was your first ever job?
See above.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Sirmione, Italy. It's simply breathtaking. A must-see!
