A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Seeing my clients breakthrough the old patterns, old stories & beliefs that have been holding them back. Witnessing them step into their truth, releasing their fears & trusting themselves.

What is your vision for your business?
£250,000 coaching business by the end of 2021.

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Do not listen to the noise and "what you think you should do", trust your intuition on what is right & true for you. This will serve you always in business.

Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
Adore the work of Glennon Doyle & Brene Brown. Both female leaders are creating a positive impact on the lives of women & families across the world. So much wisdom & truth is shared by these women, so heart warming.

Which one phrase or quote sums up your attitude to business life?
I have three that I live by... Business does not have to be hard, what if it was simple? We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking that created them. We never lose, we either win or learn.

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
I attended a couple guest sessions & really loved the energy in the group. The network attracts dynamic & inspirational women & feels like my people :). I plan to attend my monthly meeting & then set up a couple one to ones each month to get to know the ladies on a deeper level.

What do you do at week-ends?
I normally run, do some yoga, go for a wild swim with a fellow wild woman, family walks in nature & good food, I love to cook! And see friends when we are allowed (filling this in whilst in lockdown!). We bought a fire pit to enable us to be sociable when the lockdown rules lift, looking forward to that :)

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Ha, good question, a big journal & pen, so I could write endlessly.

What book are you currently reading?
I have 3 on the go ;) Untamed by Glennon Doyle - reading for the second time. The dark side of the light chasers by Debbie Ford - second time reading too. Playing big by Tara Moyr

What book(s) would you recommend?
The 3 above. Dr Joe Dispenza - Breaking the habit of being yourself.

Who's your personal hero and why?
Kathrine Switzer - first female to run a marathon & change history forever to enable women to run marathons. Being a marathon runner myself this has enabled me to fulfil one of my dreams.

What is your worst experience in business or work?
Worst & best experience - Being fired, hugely emotional experience at the time & brought up all of my "stuff" however after 48 hours of a pity party I realised it was the best thing ever. It helped me to navigate onto my true path for which I am truly grateful for. Shows that our pain often reveals our path / true purpose.

What was your first ever job?
Waitress at age 13 at a local holiday resort in Brean, Somerset. Used to have such a giggle as my friends worked there too. Most hilarious memory was putting fairy liquid in the dishwasher...ha ha ha...definitely do not try this at home ;). Created chaos!

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
I can't choose just one! Sedona, Arizona for it's magnetic & magical energy. Venice for it's unique beauty & romance. Lyme Regis for it's community feel & amazing sea to swim in. The french alps for the most amazing skiing & sunsets.
