WomenMeanBiz Lunchtime Meetings

In recognition of increasingly tight business schedules and the increased number of women who are working mothers, WomenMeanBiz meet monthly for structured lunch time meetings that start and finish on time.

The meetings are relaxed and informative yet provide an organised structure for like minded business women to learn, educate, network and generate business for each other.

Research has shown that close relationships with competitors can be as successful at generating new business as working closely with complementary professions. Accordingly each group allows up to two people per profession to ensure an exclusive but not unnecessarily restricted cross section of businesses. The key is to create mutually beneficial relationships that will enhance your business.

The meeting format includes:

  • Open Networking
  • Introduction – News/Events/Announcements
  • The one minute round
  • 10 minute Members Presentation 
  • Business Surgery - Brainstorming session working on one issue for one member
  • Keynote Speaker
  • The thank-you round
  • AOB
  • Open Networking

Personal development and training will be provided with regular keynote speakers covering a wide range of relevant topics for you as a woman in business.

In addition, members are actively encouraged to have “one to one” meetings with each other to learn more about each other’s business aspirations and find ways to better and more quickly achieve your respective business goals.

Current Meetings

All our lunch meetings start 12.00 noon and finish at 2.00pm.  A delicious 2 course meal will be served during the meeting as we sit around one large board room style table.  Our groups meeting monthly in the following locations:

  • BATH - Bailbrook House Hotel, Eveleigh Avenue, London Road West, Bath BA1 7JD - LAUNCH on 15th Sept 2011
  • CENTRAL BRISTOL - Bristol Marriott Royal, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TA - First Thursday monthly
  • NORTH BRISTOL – Aztec Hotel & Spa, Aztec West, Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4TS- Second Friday monthly
  • WESTON-S-MARE – Oak and Glass Restaurant, 1 Uphill Road North, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 4NE - Third Tuesday monthly

Future Meetings

Building on the very credible success of our existing groups in the South West, WomenMeanBiz is expanding to other towns and cities in the UK.  To register your interest for a group in your area please email
