WomenMeanBiz Lunchtime Meetings

In recognition of increasingly tight business schedules and the increased number of women who are working mothers, WomenMeanBiz meet fortnightly for structured lunch time meetings that start and finish on time.

The meetings are relaxed and informative yet provide an organised structure for like minded business women to learn, educate, network and generate business for each other.

Research has shown that close relationships with competitors can be as successful at generating new business as working closely with complementary professions. Accordingly each group allows up to two people per profession to ensure an exclusive but not unnecessarily restricted cross section of businesses. The key is to create mutually beneficial relationships that will enhance your business.

The meeting format includes:

  • 5 minute Members Presentation
  • Keynote Speaker

  • Open Networking

Personal development and training will be provided with regular keynote speakers covering a wide range of relevant topics for you as a woman in business.

In addition, members are actively encouraged to have “one to one” meetings with each other to learn more about each other’s business aspirations and find ways to better and more quickly achieve your respective business goals.

Current Meetings

All our lunch meetings start at 12.15pm and finish for 1.45pm. We have groups meeting regularly in the following locations:

  • BATH - Hunstrete House, Pensford, Nr Bath BS39 4NS - alternate Fridays
  • CENTRAL BRISTOL - Bristol Marriott Royal, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TA - alternate Thursdays
  • NORTH BRISTOL – Thornbury Castle, Castle Street, Thornbury BS35 1HH - alternate Wednesdays
  • TAUNTON - The Mount Somerset, Lower Henlade, Taunton TA3 5NB - on alternate Tuesdays
  • WESTON-SUPER-MARE – Truffles Restaurant, Rookery Manor, Weston-super-Mare BS24 0JB - alternate Tuesdays
