A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Hearing from a client that they have had the most amazing holiday when they return.

What is your vision for your business?
I'm working on a long term vision however my vision for the year ahead is very clear, beat last years turnover taking it month by month by focusing on more conversations.

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Join a networking group that is right for you.

Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
David Speakman, founder of Travel Counsellors as his vision was to be the best travel company that work from home and he has acheived his dream.

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
WMB just sat right for my business, the times suits and the format is great. I make sure I attend every meeting as it is just as important as meeting a client. I build relationships with other memebers and this is key to networking success so you can referral others and recommend others on and by this they will do the same back. It all takes time.

What do you do at week-ends?
Relax and spend time with my family

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Suncream and a towel- I'd be very happy!

What book are you currently reading?
Fifty Shades of Grey- of course!

What is your worst experience in business or work?
When 911 happened. Being in travel then was hard days.

What was your first ever job?
working in a local supermarket on the tills.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
I do have a few in fairness, but Australia has got to be at the top as the lifestyle and adventure makes this country a fantastic place to go back to time and time again.
